Checking fuses(again) white relay 024433182 left of fuses now making fast beeping noise when the key is in position 1 ignition on beeping stops.Any ideas what this relay is for?

It's a reminder to take the key out before the noise drives you madso you don't forget/lose them

Only happens when drivers door is open close the door and it'll stop.

Been told the door switches are a common fault.Don,t think it,s them at fault as the puddle lights are fine.I,m thinking the time delay relay.Anyone know where it is?

Getting weirder.Still got fast low beep when the is put in.Ignition on,stops.No interior lights when the door is opened.Already changed door switches.Last night noticed dash lights stayed on (no external lights on).Eventually went out.Thinking got to be a relay but have,nt a clue which is which.Any help apprieciated.

Problem solved.Changed interior light unit.Checked old unit,dry and no corrosion.Must have been fault in unit.

Would still be nice to know what is the upgrade bulb spec mention that illuminates the footwells

Hi all,

Maybe I'm being retarded but if your interior lights next to the rear-view mirror don't come on when you open the door but do come on using the switch..... isn't that simply because they are using different bulbs. IIRC there's 4 in total: two on drivers side for switch and when door opens and the same passenger side?

So to sum up wouldn't bulb changes have fixed?

2 bulbs for courtesy light(weren,t working) 2 bulbs for map lights(were working).Changed the unit,all working. Result.Bulbs were all fine(standard ones)

Arr, yes, if all bulbs were fine then I see what you're saying re the unit
