Omega trip computer display not working
« on: 22 March 2011, 19:21:19 »

The trip/clock/radio display no longer shows anything; no illumination. Everything else works OK so don't think it is a fuse. Another forum suggested all bulbs gone at once? nad showed me how to remove teh central air vents and hopefully get at the unit. Is that how i get at it and check connections? Any other suggestions?

Thanks for th elink. I was planning to try at weekend but this moring the display came back on. The settings had all zeroed e.g. 0gal used etc. Does this suggest a losse connection or a faulty unit? Any ideas/experience?

Remove instrument panel and check that the locking tab on the MID connector is firmly in place and/or not snapped.

Sounds like the MID lost its power, so start with connection to MID as RobG suggests :y
