FITTING/REMOVING FRONT FOG LIGHTS ON 1998 OMEGA
« on: 05 July 2011, 10:22:33 »

One of the things noted when I picked up my 98 MV6 estate was the drivers side fog light wasnt working and was loose.
I went out to look at it last night and found it was held in by cable ties and had no means of screwing to the bumper.
From items for sale on ebay i see there is a bracket piece which fits around the rear of the lamp. What I want to know to how does this fix to the bumper? Is it just a single screw nearest to radiator side into the retained screw clip on the bumper? What is the hole in the light body flange on wheel side for? and lastly does anyone know what size screw(s) i need?

There should be 3 self tapping bolts (8mm head, around m6 size?) one top, one bottom and one in the middle towards the middle of the car. where abouts are you? I think I've got a smashed one from the drivers side which could be butchered  :y
