Astra-H is CAN, so may need some Tech2'ing to get things working properly, assuming the car has all the other required modules for Check Control etc...

I see, what is missing is the usual trip displays average MPG etc. I did think this would be basically built in, but would just need activating (tech 2)

But I suppose I am just being naive  :-[

They probably would be, although may need enabling in other ECU's (due to the way that CAN works).  Its if you can disable 'missing' features that the screen expects that aren't present in the car.

Any other ECU's on the CANBUS need tweaking to tell them the screen has more features?

Thanks chaps. I suppose the tweaks require tech 2 machine. Would TB or KW be able to assist or do I go to dealer  :(

Location?

We only have 1 CANdi between us, and MDTM currently has that, but I'm sure we could plan for it...

No, in fact, if you ever see a car with the three line display (not the two line as per above) all you need to do to enable board computer is up the config value by 1.
