Learning new languages.
« on: 06 March 2008, 10:25:04 »

Not being a habitual user of forums, and after getting completely bogged down with all the IT technical language on here, on which I've given up, can I ask a simple question?
What does 'lol' actually mean? And what does Markey Mark mean when he simply posts 'Bumpy'?
And why is the sea boiling hot? And do pigs have wings?   :-/ :-/

I thought he'd just left off a 'W'.
Or an 'NG'.
Or a 'VINGLY'
Or even a 'ODLY'.  ::)
Thanks for the explanations, fellas. Beginning to feel less of a prat!

Bob. Don't despair. You'll get your mirror soon, I'm sure.
Cheers,
Bill.

Cheers Bill, but on it's way to being sorted. Irmscherkris has one on the W reg Omega he's breaking. £50 for the complete unit incl delivery. :y It's in silver so will need to get it resprayed. Now I've just got to wait until payday to pay for it.

From VX I would have been looking at over £300 plus another £50 for spraying!! :o

Fantastic! A good spray job and you'll forget what happened, and forget any bullying cajoling from Mikedundee to sell it.  ;D

It's good that it didn't hurt the door.  :y

A couple of inches closer it would have taken half my car off!! :-?

The last time I had a similar thing happen, the door mirror slammed into the drivers door window and exploded it like a bomb going off.

Often thought about just-that when I`ve been washing the car and moved the mirrors inwards and noticed they contacted the glass; what a shocker though, Bob!  :o
