I've opted out of the tv licence scheme now my current one  has expired due to the shite they keep putting on and i don't use bbc.  ;)

lol, guessing its a bit tongue in cheek as the TV license gives you a license to receive TV.....BBC or not and is still required for sky to.

Or a computer, you can receive tv on that too. Got you by the short and curlies.

mine ran out in June and haven't been home since then. they keep writing to me and i keep telling them i am not living there at the moment so i guess they are going round knocking on my door trying to find out.

Its an LCD. Spend a little more and get an LCD/LED one. Will use quite a bit less power and as a consequence run cooler and hopfully be more reliable.

I'd buy from Richers as you can get a 5 year warranty for about £40 also.
