2.2 Auto box fluid change
« on: 17 October 2011, 09:05:15 »

Good Morning
I am going to change the fluid in my gear gear box, is it best to replace the filter or is it possible to clean the old one?
                Thanks

Personally, I'd clean the old one.  If its that dirty that its too hard to clean, thats a sure sign the gearbox is toast...

Edit: there is a little cork square seal (25 x 15mm approx, with hole in) - ensure this goes back on the filter, has a habit of coming adrift.
