loss of power
« on: 14 October 2011, 13:18:31 »

Hi all

My mig developed a fault today with serious lack of power. It seems to run okay while cold but as soon as it warms up i lose power.

There are no lights on so i did the pedal trick and got 0170 fuel trim? I'm not sure what that means, could it be dirt in the fuel system, the mrs ran the tank very low!

Many thanks in advance!

Might help if you said which engine you have!

Assuming 2.6 or 3.2?

Fuel trim error codes can be caused by number of things, but i'd start with:

MAF Sensor & Rear Multi-ram  :y
