Came in with the new site. You cant change it.Apparently there are reasons for it,although I dont really know what they are,or even if it applies to everyone tbh. It drives me absolutely nuts though.I hope it can be changed - soon. :(

I'm sure there are reasons albs but struggle to see them must be a PITA for the breakers on here when someone's asking questions about parts or shudder to think a few people. 5 per hour does seem a bit low tbh i agree with post limits for buying and selling but this one is a bit strange in my book.

But as mrs dtd says mine is not to reason why :-\

I think (and I might be wrong) it's to try and keep the site stable as when it fist went live the hamster had a couple of asthma attacks ::) :D

Yes, it can be inconvenient ::) But I think some people are missing the point... IIRC this limit was put in to enhance the stability of the site. I'm sure we'd all rather see the site up and running than crashing every 5 minutes ;) ;)

I'm sure the admin team will resolve the issue as soon as they can but, at the end of the day, they give up a lot of time and money (to keep it free for us :y) for this site and we should all be grateful that they do :y :y

It appears some are too blinkered to care about others, as long as restrictions do not affect them.

I'm bored of constantly answering this one - we have a perfectly good search now, been covered a million times.

The facts are:
1) we're still unstable - we had another glitch about 5m ago
2) the PM system is far too active currently, so we are forced to keep activity at a level suitable for 99%, in order to keep site from constantly falling over.
