Stupid question time.. I've just picked up a set of four steelies with winter tyres (well, it's only 4C outside now and a tad slippy, as I found out on the way home) but it's been so long since I had a car with steel wheels I no longer know the answer.

Come to think of it, I've not taken the wheels off the Omega yet, I don't even know if they're wheel nuts or bolts (I'm guessing bolts like most Vx?).. but will the same ones work with the steelies, or do I need to source a set of suitable bolts?

Here endeth my dumb question of the day.

That's great - thanks Lee :)

I've got so used to pointing out to folks (on the Toyota forum) that they need taper seat nuts rather than square seat when they fit aftermarket wheels, I had a sudden moment of panic that I might be doing something equally dumb.. ;D

I hope they use the same bolts as the spare wheel doesnt come with its own set of bolts. ;) ::) ;D

Not such a stupid question though... There are cars on the market that require different bolts when using the spare ;) :y
