2.5 TD Glow Plugs and engine code

I need a set of glow plugs for a 2.5TD

I'm looking at about £80 on TC for GM ones, but I'm looking at 20 - 30 for a set off the bay.  Any reason why I should go for the cheeper aftermarket option in this case?

Also, whilst on TC i noticed there were 3 different engine codes for the 2.5 TD. Which one would be fitted in a 1994/5 M plate model?

phone was flat, but other texts came through today when I charged it
