Mass air flow sensor. Meaters the incoming air so the ecu knows how much furl to add to give the correct mixture. Its the first electrical plug in the inlet. Air box>downward elbow>Maf with plug on. Built into the inlet tract, so to speak.

Mass airflow meter.Situated just after the airfilter in the trunking between filter and "bagpipes",cylindrical,about 4 inches long and has an electrical plug in the side of it. :y

And a code 73/74 doesn't immediately mean there is a MAF fault. Other things can make the ECU think it is faulty.

Ideally, with a code reader, measure idle (with AC off) MAF readings. Should be about 12-15kg/h. Rev it, should increase. Blipping throttle should see values in excess of 150kg/h

Pre face mafs are fairly reliable, so question is, why do you ask?
