Not very realistic either,the winch was still pulling when it hit wall making the impact much worse

I personally dont think that makes a difference, if that part of the body work stayed attached on impact.
You could of course have made it a remote control demo and drive the car into the wall or have it loaded and pulled on a shuttle till the point of impact, but in all honesty do you think the result would be any different, I for one dont think so.

Mercifully, they've both got as much chance of getting to 120 MPH in the real world as I have of winning "miss world". ;)

When it comes to hitting walls, you don't have to be going very fast before to decelerate your body to rest in the length of the car's bonnet would kill you through internal injuries regardless of how well the car protects you from external injuries, to the whole exercise is pretty futile, other than to remind us that there is a time and a place for 120MPH, and it's ideally well away from solid concrete objects.

Indeed Kevin (to everything you just said) - although of course in the 'real world' the chances of going dead-on into a solid concrete wall are minimal, you'll usually at least bounce off something and fly off in another direction.. Of course if the other direction includes things like trees, innocent bystanders, or other cars... you might end up wishing it was a solid concrete wall (at least that would be quick, and you'd take nobody with you).

Can't be arsed to look at the video, but presume this is the Focus one?

If so, one less Focus on the road is always a good thing...  ...only a couple of million more to go ;)
