anyone know were i would be able to get a new radio system from the one i have at the moment has a 4 disk cd changer
but this isnt working.
its a ccr 2006 that i have at moment

I'm in the same boat at the minute. There are a couple for sale within the forum, though the sellers haven't been around over the weekend. That's providing you intend keeping the original equipment fitted? Or are you thinking about something aftermarket? Any decision I make will probably have to wait until after Christmas  :-[

I think the two on here are £60 and £80, though you can also buy a fully refurbished unit for £185, which I believe also includes a warranty.

Mine is missing the CD altogether for some strange reason. It would seem that the CD can give problems, but if you intend replacing it I am informed it must come from a similar unit, and is not too difficult. If you think it needs repaired, then I'm sure someone with more expertise in this field will be along to help. Might be worth dropping DaveDND a line to ask his advice  :y

really dont know if it needs repaired or replaced its got that stupid magazine for holding the cds
and it wont accept it when putting in
so reall dont know if the magazine is broken or if its something else lol

check the white plastic clip is not stuck. had 4cd one and it was that.

also check that the laszer arm has gone all the way back in.

Spares for the changer are virtually non existant as Philips ceased trading nearly 10 years ago !!

Grab these whillst we still have them, as once gone, we are unlikely to see any more
