Engine warm or cold?

Warm engine should be 650-700RPM when in Drive, footbrake applied.  Higer for a Cold Engine.

Could you ask someone (pref a trusted friend and not the wife  ;D) to put the transmission into gear and put their foot on the brake as you look under the bonnet?

Might give you some indication as to where the vibration is comeing from.
