handbrake
« on: 05 December 2011, 14:38:12 »

Hi

I have just put new discs on all round, now the handbrake does not work.
it worked before really well, i did not replace the shoes as they looked okay.

Do they need replacing?

If your hand brake worked OK before you did the job that would suggest that either the handbrake shoes just need adjusting - I assume you must've backed them off when you did the rear discs, or you've not put it back together properly. At least you still have PARK till you get around to sorting it.  ;) ;)
