Rather nice car in reception at the moment...
« on: 08 December 2011, 21:48:54 »

So went down to take a closer look at this:

Impressive bit of tech:

Sit so close to the ground, its only until you are up close you realise how low these cars are.

Sadly not allowed to sit in it  :(

Vettel and Weber with Red Bull F1 cars, plus Coultard with Red Bull NASCAR "racing up Midsomer Boulavard" in MK this saturday ( 10th Dec ). Good chance to get up close to look at all the cars and meet the Red Bull team.  ;) :y

question is tunnie----how much room in engine bay??    ;D ;D

very impressive though i worked in masseys for a while and we done the race trucks for mclaren, had to go to their workshops once my god what a place, like a hospital inside and tech's shaving 1000th of a millimetre off of components to make the car lighter etc   it was an experience  :y

maybe... Just interested tbh. :) f duct maybe? Not even sure how many pedals there are... None probably. ;D

Tbh honest if that was in our reception i'd hide in the building and take it to bits when everyone had gone home or was on night shift. Awww what does this bit do...? ;D

All useless without a mclaren lap top though i guess.

I wouldn't mind betting any trick bits get removed before any car is displayed in public. They are secretive enough when the pit garage door is open more than a few inches at a race meet.
