TPS signal valid interval?
« on: 09 January 2012, 08:21:09 »

Hi All,

I made some log when calibrating my LPG system during the weekend and found that the maximum TPS (engine load) value is 85%. This is the max value for kickdown pedal state. Is that normal?
The car is an x30xe with motronic 2.8.1

Thanks,

Peter

On the cable operated X30XE the kick down is carried out by a switch which is on the throttle cable close to the bulk head.

You can to an extent adjust this by altering the slack in the cable (its common for the kick down not to function if the throttle cable has to much slack for example).
