Info Display Completely Blank
« on: 05 January 2012, 19:59:13 »

The info display on my Diesel Omega CDX Facelift has gone completely blank.  According to the fuse diagram it shares fuses with other electrical items but these are all working fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Presumably MID?

Not turned dash backlighting all the way down (dial on headlight switch)?

4 blown bulbs in MID unit (was it getting dim in some corners?)

are you sure it was perfect?

Ive seen many just running on 1 of the 4 lamps, yet the owners have always been unaware until its pointed out.

new lamps would be my 1st call...

Jobs a goodun!
Thanks to all who replied in particular RobG.
As a result of your reply I actually removed the fuses.
I had previously just checked that the features controlled by the same fuse were working.  However, after removing and checking the fuse, which was fine; I turned on the ignition and the display was working again.  I don't know why which is the worrying part but I removed and replaced the fuse a few times and everything is still OK now.  This was fuse number 26.
Thanks again.
