Who is this man "Richard"..does he do any other jobs ?? ;D

Omegas are a bit toy-like compared to the stuff he normally works on. You know, DC3s, Catalinas, B17s, Constellations or even little things like Tiger Moths and Piper Cubs.

The car was jacked up, with the droplinks disconnected. There's enough room to reach up and undo the ARB clamp bolts. Knock the bush along the bar, and slip the poly bushes - which are split -  in place. Job done.
All that in "5 minutes maximum". He must be good ???

 :o If that was a 2.5td then he must be a bl**dy magician !!

I've poly'd my ARB and front wishbones and to undo and retightening the rear bolt on the N/S U-clamp is a slow, 1/4 turn at a time process. The other three are easy enough, but that one bolt is a PITA !!  Not enough room for a ratchet socket.

Don't know if Petrol and Diesel Omegas have the same access restrictions.  As far as the 2.5td goes, it may look like a nice quick 'n' easy job, but it isn't !!

Having said that, it was worth doing. Surprising how much it firms things up.  :y

Do I need to do it from the engine bay then?
I did mine from the top while the rad was out .. passenger side was a pig to get to , drivers side easy . Fair play to those that can reach and do them from underneath  :o :o :o
