Trafficmaster
« on: 19 January 2012, 17:09:14 »

Hi All

Was wondering if it is worth activating the Trafficmaster in my old girl.
Never used it before but wondering if combined with me TomTom it might get me where i wanna go on time instead of always late.
Mind you that is usually when she is driving, which is more often than i`m liking lately!

Personally, I use it. But depends on roads you use.

I tend to only take notice if its a long delay.  If I don't believe it (its not always right), I get Mrs TheBoy to look on her phone.

Yeah, pretty much no need to have any sort of device if you got something like an iPhone as you can even get sat-nav and cos of the size of the phone it's almost as good as my TomTom XL!

Except TomTom traffic is expensive at £120 a year, and you need a data contract on th phone.

So , how much is Trafficmaster a year ?

I have TomTom too and the Live traffic update was about £50 to renew when i last looked but think that was a special half price offer.

Sorry i`m probably being bit dim here

I thought Trafficmaster cost about 25 quid-ish, the last time I looked.
