150 miles in the Disco v8 tonight, £40 refil = 18 MPG.

That's all motorway, 58mph.

I may be wrong, but I would expect about 23mpg on a steady run like that? Is there a potential problem, or is this just normal?

 

With that kind of MPG i would want some performance and few toys!!

Not a landy fan me... for that MPG i would have to have either a BMW 540i or Jag Supercharged XJ...

Or if i am feeling flush... a Monaro!

I too having owned a few V8's in my time would say your mpg is about right, all the aerodynamics of a breeze bloke & a 3.9, you can't expect much more matey
I really miss that big V8 raw too, it's not the same with a rattling diesel

As said, most of the V8 noise is the viscous fan.....the engine on standard pipes is pretty quiet.
