All it needs is a V12 Jag engine... <rubs chin> ::)

Sorry to get all technical but it doesn't matter if you put a ford engine for a maserati one in as the hull speed for this boat is quite low (around 5-6kts)

That said, in my head I do have ideas for a river launch with a jag V12 and a beer locker ;D

I got this boat for the wife as after a few hours she is cold and bored and wants to go back in, whereas I am just getting warmed up.  Now I have a small cabin she can go inside for a bit and sleep/read :y

Very noble of you. :y Now you've just got to stop her going into orbit when she finds out about it.  ;D

I think she's used to it now, besides I was calm when she spent $5k on a diamond earing/necklace set without asking me  :y

Your a little treasure ;)

Seriously......again?!  ;D

Actually I was happy as she had made a sound investment.  It was a police auction of seized goods/proceeds of crime thing thus sold at a massive discount.  The set is actually worth a lot more :y

I made out to be a little peeved as I knew I would one day have to tell her about the boat  ;D

Haven't got the death wish, but I'd have no hesitation in slamming the gates to the max if I was astride it.

PS

Although it's a fairly long wheelbase, can I bungee strap you to the tank as extra ballast just to make sure the front end doesn't lift too much when I open the taps?  ;D ;D

Great Project Guffer - It will be fantastic when it's done!  I launch my jetboat from Hayling Island and go round the isle of wight but it's an open deck with no cabin so it can get a bit chilly, but it has twin Rotax 155 BHP engines so it can get up to a fair old lick when the conditions allow.

I love boating and Jet Skiing but I am terrified of deep water!
