Car tax

Hi all can anybody tell me if a car that is twenty five years old this year will become exempt of road tax?

No, it won't be. I think its cars built before 1 January 1973 only....

As above, tax exemption only applies to vehicles that were first registered before 1st Jan 1973. You still have to tax them and display a valid tax disc though.

another time when I have to agree with Tunnie  ::), it's based on date of manufacture!  :y  :y

Tax excempt 'rolled' for a very short time, it was one of the first things that Crony Blair's government stopped when they came to power in 1997  >:( >:( >:(
