Astra droplinks
« on: 03 April 2012, 20:58:19 »

Alright all :D

Got a very slight knocking on the front of my astra. Going to change the droplinks as everything else looks in good shape.

Sounds daft but i havent done them before but i take it that its a case of jacking car up, undoing the top and bottom bolts and replacing? or is their anything else i may need to do?

Changed a pair on a 2004 Astra H mk5 1.8 Design auto. These are the plastic ones and total doddle to do. Not sure about Astra G. Imagine very similar.

Before I did the wifes I considered something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Astra-Mk4-Zafira-V-Maxx-Droplinks-/190635989126?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c62ca5886 But did stick to original Vauxhall items in the end.
