Got no problems with BT getting 37 meg and 8.5/9 meg consistantly on infinity so yes a thumbs up for BT

Looking at the state of our exchange, they need to invest in some felt for the roof before they make the broadband any faster.

That's a sound you only ever heard in really small, rural exchanges. More than 2 or 3 hundred lines, it just became a din

Ie do Flight Sim over the network and was with Tiscali until they cut me off from P2P servers from 6pm to 1130pm. When I complained and asked for a migrate code I got it within 5 mins.
A bit later, Tiscali announced that all p2p users could have a migrate code, no matter where in their contract they were, with no penalty. They do not like gamers

No, they don't like filesharers or nntp users. They make a huge loss on them (several hundred pounds per user, per month). Also causes them extra costs if its illegal filesharing.

Their options are to heavily shape, or ban. Or have a set monthly usage.

Sadly, some games are using similar technologies, and flag the same way
