Been a good week for me this week.

Last week I was struck down with Norovirus. An evil bug that has you sleeping, vomitting and diarrhearending for a quite a few days. So am recovered from that.

Then we have managed to finish our olive harvest (not a bit as easy as that damn Bertolli TV advert would have you believe) despite illness and bad weather. Last 800Kg load to the Co operative on Saturday with one day to spare before they close for receipt. Our best harvest ever at over 100Kg a tree average. So our pockets will be well lined for at least a week. 

Best of all, my dad had his hip operation on Wednesday and is recovering well. After two previous appointments cancelled at COP day before, I don't think he could have taken another cancellation given the pain he was in. Now I need to get him back in the system for the other hip which the specialist says has also had it.

Nice to have good news. Life is pretty good even if a 1000 euros equals about 10 of your UK pounds! ;D ;D
