PPI reclaim-go for it!
« on: 21 April 2012, 17:34:33 »

:) been said on here before ,but it is really is just a case of filling the forms in and posting off, had 2 claims upheld , one for over £800 and another for over £2700, all for the price of the stamps and a bit of time on the forms (which aren't rocket science) got the forms from the Martin Lewis money advice site . These PPi reclaim companies are making money for virtually doing nothing  >:(

I'm going to look into it after the 9th May
I used to be a total cock with credit cards / bank loans and iirc, the first few had the ppi on them which I later found out that they are sweet break all use if your self employed  >:( >:( >:(

If I can get anything out of them, I should be able to keep the money since the bankruptcy finishes in 17 days  ;D ;D :y

Bankruptcy finishes at 9:50 9th May.

In the words of the reciever, before that date, any money I come into is there's   :(  after that date, they have no claim over anything I make or inherit  :y

Do it :y claim direct off the relevant bank :y don't pay those telly twits a penny. From experience you'll get a better settlement commission free direct :y being self employed would seem to be as good a reason as any to void the insurance :y

Bankruptcy or insolvancy nowdays is for 12 months unless the reciever / court believe you have held something back or being a naughty boy. This includes obtaining credit for instance when you know you are in financial trouble and then just spending the money or just obtaining credit when its obvious you are never going to pay it back.
In these cases, the judge can apply special measures and hold you back for upto iirc 15 years  :-\

In my case, the business was basicly dead in the water by the middle of 2009.
I signed on the dole during July 2009 to claim my stamp by stateing I was only working 16 hours or less  :y
My missus works 30 hours a week so I don't recieve a penny in benefits  :(
When the bankruptcy pertition was presented, I had ...................... a car worth 500 quid, my tools and clothes and my gonads. No savings / investments / pentions or property  :( :(

Because I was on the dole and recieving nothing in my name,  there was no messures or conditions applied  :y
I recieved a letter of the insovancy service a couple of months back asking me to fill out a statement of means form.
After I stopped laughing, me and the missus went in for a interview and after 30 minutes of them trying to catch me and swmbo out, a statement was signed to say I still had break all in my name.
A week later, I recieved another letter saying that they had finished and the next letter would come from the courts to discharge me no later then the 9th May  :y

Claimed a few of these, if it was ppi on a credit card make sure you get all your old statements off them and calculate the COMPOUND interest,i.e if the APR on the card was 21% and you paid them £20 ppi in April 05 you can charge them interest at the same rate until you stopped paying ppi. Makes for a much bigger payout :y
