all done anw what a job
« on: 06 May 2012, 20:10:36 »

like my earlier post about crank shaft sensor.
well all back together after taking air con pump off ,power steering pump and the housing for them both just to find a oil leak .
well just finished the job and it does start which is a bonus as my lad was helping me and now both covered in oil .
just need to see if it still leaks oil.

Still got a slight miss when starts but does clear its self when getting moving ? any ideas ???
just need to have a look at the gearbox next as it just revs up at times when in drive ,or holds the gears and dont change which goes in to limp mode.

If i have no look think ill be asking for some helping hands from you guys on here one weekend plus some beers to help the day go smothly .
any ideas about the gearbox or the missing would be great. replaced cam belt last week ,timing marks were all on pointers .

Regarding the mis-fire, I'm thinking maybe you should check the plug leads for oil contamination.
And maybe an atf and filter change will help with the auto box, are the gear selector indicator lights working normally?
