Thanks all,

I'm new to the forum but not new to Vauxhall Omegas! I bought my Omega about
10 years ago through the Network Q arrangement about 10 months old with
12000 miles on the clock (Y26SE). It is that good that I've still got it.
Lots of miles in the early days but changed work role and reduced my
mileage. Now has 104,000 on the clock.

If I'd gone by mechanics' advice, I'd probably have scrapped it by now but I
like it too much so I started to research! The forum's diagnostics are oil
cooler, not head gaskets as diagnosed by mechanics!

I've replaced the oil cooler as per the maintenance guides and all seems to
be well. MOT on Wednesday 23 May. Looks all ok and should pass. I've not
really got to grips with the OOF site routines, just needed information
quickly so have not got around to thanking all for their dedication and
support. I must get to grips with it soon!

I will advertise the OOF (in my rear window) and will be replacing the
timing belt next,

Cheers all!
