there you go the boy just been out there dis pack off plugs out back in and torqued up dis pack back on 25min

bet you cannot do that with your trolley ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

plugs all good as expected [bosch] ones with 4 thingys on the end
no oil in the holes didnt expect none cos done new gasket
two of the rubber boots were split...

cars done 53000 .so looks like gotto blame dis pack

What took so long!?

Post up hires pic of each side of coil pack.


For info, I can get either of my coil packs out of the 3.2 in under 5 mins, including getting the tools out :)

Just because you have two split "boots" doesn`t follow that both would "miss". Have you swapped #3 plug to another cylinder to confirm actual plug is good?

i will swap the rubber round 3 and 4 and see if any change  ..but cannot see split rubber causing problem but may be wrong :-\ :y

Move plugs around as well though.

LOL just gone and put it back on..with moved rubbers...i will swap plugs tomo...thats a long job ;D ;D ;D :y

well i swapped the plugs around on sunday ,but still the same fault on [3] so decided to get a brand new bosch one as recommended [£40]and the car goes brill now.....sorted :y ;D ;D ;D ;D
