Hope it's a proper one with valves in.
Sorry no valves on this one...............However I got an Orange PA amp to be fixed some time. Its been in a garden shed for some time
. Its all valve, I guess 120W. And someone gave me a Marshall Valve 10W (?) PA amp which is now behaving itself.
Thanks for the offers of help with pickup, however I need to just do this, fill up the car with LPG
and head off, prob on friday after work. I spent a chunk of last week trying to organise pickup, I could get it shipped for about £15 but they can't say what part of the day they will go, so no use, and I am gonna slip the seller an extra £10; he really got a bad deal, these normally sell for a lot.
Golden rule here, DONT SELL THINGS THAT END OVER A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. Most people are worrying about going away, not bidding on stuff.
Talking of which there could be a few bargains next weekend.......

Hmm.

Fixed an MG30 for a mate of mine recently. It seems the quality of the later solid state stuff is pretty poor. Proper bollywood soldering inside and every component absolutely cut to the bone so it's operating at its' limits.
The poor amplifier chip was on such a small heatsink that its external temperature was up to 120 degrees C with a minute or two's thrashing.
Still, if it needs a little TLC it's in the right hands, I guess.
