Well, with crossed fingers, legs and everything else, I think you are right!

This evening I pulled the X3 connector and the fuse carrier apart again and cleaned the contacts with a contact breaker file. I also cleaned up the fuses in the ECU box and the ECU plug and so far I've had no further problems... yay!

I'll take her to work tomorrow - that'll be the acid test!

Thanks for all the input guys, hopefully I can move on the the next project - fitting a black leather interior into her.
