Omega Seems To Cut Out As It warms Up.
« on: 06 June 2012, 09:11:49 »

Problem with 02, 2.6, V6, 85,000 Miles. Starts fine runs sweet for between 2 - 3 miles then cuts out. Will turn over but not fire.

Park up and return same thing happens.

Our friends at the vauxhall garage cant find a fault code, they start it and test it before it fails. Any ideas?

Agree with Rob above.  :y Does appear to be classic crank sensor fault. It would definitely be top of my list of checks.  :y

Indeed, agree with above.

Vauxhall dealers are fairly universally useless for knowing/understanding the cars. Though a handful do have good parts departments, such as my local one, and of course, andyc :y
