Random wire found under scuttle area
« on: 17 July 2012, 16:01:40 »

Right, I'm 99% sure this is a bit of ex-plod wiring that they've not fully removed, but I found it when tracing the crank sensor wiring, and want to be sure it's nothing vital. I've had a poke around the bay and can't find anything obviously missing a wire, and it seems to be cleanly broken at both ends...

Apologies for the rubbish photos...

AFAIK it wasn't - I'm doing the crank sensor cause it wasn't firing, I found one end of it first and was like "ah, that might be why" - but the other end came free PDQ.

Just popping it all back together now, fingers crossed...

Is it definately wiring, or just a plastic/rubber pipe?  (sorry, difficult to tell from the pics)

Is your can manual or auto?

;D The pics are a bit crap, the end is too narrow for my camera to focus on. It looks like three-core wire.
