As for the OP I am pretty sure that my independent would simply have offered to purchase, on the spot, my car........no insurance claims as it would increase their costs and an old car like that won't be worth that much..... :)

I can't tell if your post is tongue in cheek or not but the Nova in question would be worth at least around £1500 I'd guess, plus it looks as though a lot of time effort and money has been spent on it... not impressed with it still being a 1.4 on the v5 though...

This car is acually down as a 2L just has the 1.3 on back, at least I know its insured as a 2l.

Be interesting to know if he'd already registered an MOT pass. ;D Try claiming it was the car's fault if you've just MOT'ed it? ;)
