Rust patch under the wiper now treated, filled & painted. There was two patches where the number plate fixings went through, also treated.

Irmscher trim also now fitted.




Now needs a bloody good wash & polish The highly polished tail gate shows up the rest of the car

Seen a few with holes in on the place you mention , my old vectra estate was very similar

A cracking job

That's something that need doing on mine and I want to get it done before the summer/winter we're having gets much colder

It looks good but is let down by the towbar.

A quick squirt of aerosol black would cure that.

What an arm hole What gets me is that it's such a small patch, but a big job. I think I'll stick a go faster stripe over mine next time
The rust must have been around 15-20mm in diameter but by the time you've blended the paint in, lacquered, rubbed back & polished the whole top half had been done

but it looks good much better than a bit of black tape that wifey could not resist pulling back to see whats under it
