Just For Twiglet & Anyone Else That Wants A Look
« on: 01 August 2012, 16:36:14 »

You asked for more pics Twig :)

Rust patch under the wiper now treated, filled & painted. There was two patches where the number plate fixings went through, also treated.

Irmscher trim also now fitted.

Now needs a bloody good wash & polish ;D ;D The highly polished tail gate shows up the rest of the car :-[

Keep em coming Pete, it's always good to look back on pictures when you're sorting a car out.  :y

Tailgate is looking spot on now mate.  Are you leaving the 2.0 16v badge on to give the boy racers a surprise?  ;D

It looks good but is let down by the towbar. ;)

A quick squirt of aerosol black would cure that.

One of the little jobs that I will be doing. I'm seriously thinking of taking it off & having it galvanized, then painting it :y

What an arm hole ::) What gets me is that it's such a small patch, but a big job. I think I'll stick a go faster stripe over mine next time ;D :-X
The rust must have been around 15-20mm in diameter but by the time you've blended the paint in, lacquered, rubbed back & polished the whole top half had been done ;D
