Its that Mot time again
« on: 10 August 2012, 14:49:46 »

:y ;D ;D ;D ;D laughin all the way cos it *issed through again this year. Only my usual look over (done weekly anyway) and a quick service was all it took to keep it on form. Only slight problem was a brand new exhaust centre box that had a slight, almost inaudible leak along its side seam which the carbon will soon seal according to the tester. I will give it a bit of help though with the old paste cos its too much hassle to take it off, take it back to the retailer and then put it on again. I will give then a courtesy call though to advise them of the problem so they can then check their other stock.
Now a bit of a rant >:(
Why have the penny pinchers now reduced the quality of the certificate to a plain paper and all in black ink to boot? The only colour was the blue ink used to sign it! Not even the old peel off and stick somewhere next test reminder label..........rant over........... ::)

Agreed, but isn't this taking the cutbacks like Madness's 'One Step Beyond' considerng the amount of *hite they put into print on other documents related to the driving experience? ;D

But the old green ticket had a tick box on it saying whether or not there was also an advisory certificate.
