There's 4 hex headed self tappers that hold the wiper motor & all the linkage in place.

This is just from memory mind, remove caps off wiper arms, remove nuts (13mm), remove wiper arms either by rocking or a puller. Remove scuttle, there are the four headed screws as already mentioned on the workings/mechanism, undo them. Wiggle out the denture thing, then you can take off the motor, I can't remember what or how many bolts there are for this though. There's obviously a plug as well. Straightforward really, you've just got to fiddle with it getting it in and out.

Might be a good idea to check the motors working before you put it in! And to grease the ball joints on the rods. If you suspect motor is kaput, check to make sure the rods haven't popped off the ball joints.

What I didn't know (until after I had broken a couple  ::)) is that there are a series of 1/4 turn fasteners in keyhole slots hidden under the windscreen rubber that need to be removed before the scuttle will come out.

The top bolts (can't remember if there are two or three) are fairly easy to access above the casting that the wiper motor sits in. The last one is hiding underneath & I usually use 3 extensions on my 1/4" ratchet to reach it.
