He probably felt like this was his only course of action, the only way to be heard and for anyone to take any notice, such is the pompous arrogant attitude of the left wing, who profess to be tolerant and "diverse". In reality, they are the least tolerant of others who hold rightly held beliefs that happen to be different from their own.
