Round our way they are pretty good and do ask before taking anything. One chap even leaves his card with a phone number and will pick stuff up the same day if you call him.

Typical....pikeys are like a plague round here......but I have put my old miggy rad out the front for three days with a note 'to take' and and not a pikey to be seen

I had a tenant leave a load of stuff, mostly crap when he moved out, but there was an old cooker and leaky washing machine.

Two young lads happened by in a beaten up Trannie pickup looking for scrap, and I said if they cleared out the place they could have the cooker and washing machine!

They did a great job and luckily left the boiler behind!
