It is actually 'Matador 3'. It seems I can't type and my memory is failing :(. This crane only came in to shelter from the weather.

The Americas Cup used two cranes standing on the quayside & some rather impressive lifting gear attached to the container ship the yachts came in on.

Looks like the crane in the photo is an Italian one (the 'Micoperi 30')



Right, had enough of crane spotting now  ::)

I found out its called micoperi 30 the crane, micoperi have the contract to salvage it :y

edit just read post above sorry brain not working ;D

yes that matador 3 was the one i saw in plymouth

can't we start a crane nostalgia thread ;D
