That looked to me like the steam train was also being pushed by a diesel....... :-\ :-\  The train buffs will explain no doubt..... :D :D

My understanding is that the fear of a steam train getting stranded and blocking the line means that they have to pull a diesel engine around as a personal breakdown service.
