Omega 3.2 v6 Alternator / Senator 24v Alternator

My 3.2 needs a new alternator , have one in the loft from a Senator 24v are they the same unit?

These are from a 2.6 which will be the same as a 3.2.

I doubt one from an I6 will be the same...

120 amp unit - same for 2.6 and 3.2 Lit

Available on exchange from Vx - just replaced one cost £101 + vat "on TC"

Or just fit a second hand one from a 2.5/3.0 as they are a direct fit and generaly more reliable.

Whats more, the regs are cheaper for them so much more maintainable.

 :)  HI master mitch here just wann ask you izit hard to replace an alternator??im just a newbie here just got my opel omega 2001  Automatic my omega power just suddenly go down no stereo no lights no AC's

Easy enough on a v6 innit, just two bolts and the wiring harness to undo, you also need to remove the air intake system too.
Be sure to locate the top mounting properly on refitting.
