can i get to sensor cable

sorry, i know im a pain. well my mech has it seems replaced the sensor that feeds to ecu, lots of people reckon it could well be just a wire come loose, a man in dartford reckons that too. can i find this cable and re fit without taking the plenum off?, it would be so much easier if i can, and cheaper.
