Omega interior mirror electric?
« on: 13 February 2013, 13:14:55 »

On an Elite should the interior mirror move electrically? Or was I dreaming?

Kind of... It's adjusted manually but will return to it's stored memory position electrically :y

Although it doesn't "level" ;) i.e. it doesn't rotate, just adjusts in 2 directions

The other day I accidentally moved the mirror out of position but wouldn't return to its stored position

Ooh, I never knew that.. not that I've ever seen mine move - indeed if you adjust it to anything other than a small range of positions it tends to flop about as if entirely unattached (to the point you can go around a roundabout and watch it swing the other way)..

I should clarify mine moves electrically but only if its out position by a small amount. Is that how they work?

All three should be on the memory settings.

Nope mine moves from anywhere... It is the last thing to move when holding the button though ;)

The ones on both our old Elites moved from any position using the memory button - as said last item to move.  Used this feature to readjust if interior mirror accidently knocked out of position ;)
