1. Noise; 2. Starting problems
« on: 02 October 2012, 15:42:32 »

Hey ;)

So, my 95' omega has some issues:
1. I have a noise "ding Ding" and that noise is very bad when I drive ~40km/h my car shakes. That Ding Ding thing/noise :) It comes from back of the car, but If I run on a highway it seems that this noise comes from the front of the car :( I thought that was problem with central bearing and I changed it, but....the problem is....

2. I have difficulties starting my omega on a petrol. Either omega starts very slowly and motor shakes and "check engine" lights up for a couple of seconds or my omega don't starts complete :(
On the LPG engine starts normally. Maybe there is a problem with air mass flow sensor?

Sounds to me like the LPG setup is either poorly calibrated or has a fault.

Fuel trims are building up on LPG, which means it then won't run properly on petrol.

Try running it only on petrol for a week, and see if any faults remain. If not, it's down to the LPG system.

See if it runs Ok on petrol for a while. If it does, then the LPG system needs a check over. Make sure the vapour pressure hasn't changed since it was last calibrated, that all pressure and temperature sensors are reading correctly and there are no leaks, then recalibrate and see if that helps.

Ahh. If it's a mixer then even more likely that the LPG setup is the problem.

Is the noise on LPG only or also on petrol?
