I hate the city as well. Had to go to Truro the other day, I've never known it so busy.  ;D ;D ;D
They have 2 horses there now?

....and enough hitchin`posts for the dog cart?  ;D

You just wouldn't understand the pressure of the metropolis that is Truro. They've even got one of those new fangled multi-story car parks. It's a bit tight for all the Masseys and John Deeres on market day though.  :)
What next electric light? ;D

my daughter has decided that the best form of transport in london is her feet ,she now walks from work in the square mile ,home to the east end .the tubes/buses are intolerable. >:(
I had to walk from Malyebone to Angel to get a tube to Old Street, because fatty idiot can't sort out a useful public transport system.  The buses weren't taking more passengers as already overcrowded, and the queue for taxis was incredible.

Bloody horrid place, run by a useless fat idiot.  I hope Boris wins - equally incompitent, but funnier.

So true.

LOL - I remember being on the same train as the greek bloke from London's Burning. He was wearing a long wool coat, and it was so packed that the lad behind him was pressed up so hard behind him, he drooled down that coat.

On the upside, I do get a cracking 3G signal in the big smoke!

Don't care what you all say,i love the place despite being unable to afford a property there. Ideally i'd like properties around the uk to flit between including a sprawling apartment in the smoke.
Sadly the costs are a little prohibitive to say the least but if i could i'd have the London apartment & a Barn Conversion in Cumbria with a pool for when i wanted to "get away from it all"!!! :)

I stand corrected if I am wrong but, killing time in a hospital waiting room today, I found an article in a magazine that stated that 24 hrs breathing in London is the equivilent to smoking 14.4 ciggies. There were other examples but I forget the details.
Last in London in 2001 with work, couldn't walk the streets for the beggers, some quite intimidating and the rubbish, never seen anything like it. :(We should all be proud of our capital city. :-[ :-[

I detest london with a passion. and the fat useless mayor's transport system is absolutely useless. I wish i'd brought the car in, would have been far quicker.

and my boogies will be black tonight as well :(

i agree hate the place, had to photograph the 3 mayoral candidates last week all being interviewed live on beeb radio 9-10am. Everyone in place 8.45 & muppet livingstone turned up 9.30, his excuse was he came on public transport, thats why he was late  ;D ;D

Did you hurt it? Did you insult it? Did it slime along like a slug?
