Microsoft!!!!!! Robbin barstewards who are now trying to have us buy the latest useless OS which is being slated by every vendor and forum I read the articles of.
Will I be buying it? After testing it a few times on different PC's and Laptops.......and finding it worse than the dreaded Vista......A BIG FAT NO TO THAT! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Bring back Bill Gates....at least he knew what he was on about most of the time. ;)

that's the idea, it's a deflection process at minimum cost. If you get pissed off and hang up it can't be that serious, according to them.
What they don't realise is the oversees call centres are that hopeless they may as well cut them loose, but it's the cheapest way to provide 24 hour "support"

Yep. BT are sods for that.

ISP: "Looks like a line problem. We'll raise an issue with BT. They'll respond within a week  :o"
Me:  "A rather week!"
ISP: "Yep. Actually, we might be able to pull some strings, but try BT anyway"
BT:  "It's your ISP's problem.. They're responsible for support. Of course, if you sign up with broadband from us.."
Me:  "I thought your wholesale arm was supposed to be strictly separate from your retail arm, so how would that help? I'm sure OFCOM would love to know. Anyway.. my phone line's knackered too, and I pay you line renta..."
BT:  "Duuuuur...."

Yeah, thanks for that. I pay 10.75 a month for a phone line that I don't need just so I can buy broadband from someone else who actually does know their @rse from their elbow, and this is the thanks I get. >:(

If it's a foreign site I just say " Sorry I can't understand you, can you transfer me to an English call centre please". Trouble is then you end up with a real muppet. ;D ;D
I did that with BT, agent refused, I told them it was a requirement, agent hung up.

There's a lot of good things in Win8. An awful lot. As there was with Vista. Trouble is, the retard IT journos we have here are too lazy to learn new stills, so that makes the product "crap".

So, like Vista, Win8 will be dead and buried before anyone sees it.

Certain parts of the 'enthusiast' community - that portion that dont want to pay for it - are also slating it as "crap"...    ...for a more robust anti-piracy system, that is harder to work around, and nigh on impossible to crack (the only workaround is not cracking it, and is very easily detected).
