Cliffo, assuming the new car is also a 3.2, why not swap the Ecu, ignition barrel, alarm module, ignition code ring, tailgate barrel and drivers door barrel from the old one :y

That way all your current keys will work perfectly, and it doesn't matter how many copies of the new cars key are around, as they won't work :y

Although I probably wouldn't changed the barrels, given the effort, when blank keys are dirt cheap :)

Sorry for my delayed reply
I've had laptop probs along with being busy stripping Miggy
Sure is a big job
Don't think there's much chance of switching the ECU's
I'ts highly possible the ECU could have suffered damage in the collision
Anyhow I'll try for 2 fresh 2 button keys as I think there's a good chance the security info is ok now
